Millionaire by 18 year age and Skip College crypto-engine

crypto-engine.pro millionaire by 18 year age blog post Skipped College.

“If I make a million dollars by 18, I won’t have to return to school or go to college,” said Erik Finman, a high school dropout and entrepreneur.

At just 12 years old in 2011, Erik took the $1,000 his grandmother gave him and invested it in Bitcoin, which was worth around $10 at the time.

His interest in Bitcoin sparked when he attended a protest at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C., and saw someone wearing a Bitcoin shirt. Curious, he asked his brother about it, and was told, “It’s going to end Wall Street, bro.”

Erik dove into researching Bitcoin, spending three years balancing trading and school. However, he never enjoyed high school.

“People didn’t understand my goals or dreams. One teacher even told me to drop out and work at McDonald's, as I’d never achieve more than that,” he recalled.

At 15, Erik decided to drop out, betting his parents that if he made a million dollars by 18, he wouldn’t have to continue his education.

He sold $100,000 worth of Bitcoin and launched a business from his bedroom, creating an education platform called Botangle.

which connected students with tutors via video chat. He sold the company two years later for 300 Bitcoins.

When Bitcoin hit $2,700, Erik became a millionaire at 17, winning the bet. Instead of college, he traveled the world, visiting cities like Dubai, Hong Kong, and London.

Today, Erik has significantly grown his Bitcoin holdings and has an eight figure net worth. He’s an investor in a Silicon Valley cryptocurrency startup and was instrumental in advocating for the Crypto-Currency Act of 2020.
